How do we recruit?

We can use any of the following recruitment methods alone or in combination, to ensure a thorough search for the best candidate for the position:

Advertised Assignment
This method is particularly suitable for middle management positions or when several opportunities exist necessitating extensive national coverage. The full service includes:

  • The writing of recruitment advertising and its placement in the most appropriate media, be it online or traditional press.
  • Conducting extensive pre-screening interviews.
  • Presenting a shortlist of the most appropriate candidates.
  • View some of our recent adverts.

Database Search
Database search is the most appropriate method when sourcing from a broad range of skills. We are the largest advertiser in the specialist press and we have built up a selective database of qualified candidates who wish to be kept informed of career opportunities. EMR can conduct a database search and present a shortlist of pre-interviewed candidates within hours of receiving a brief.

Search (Headhunt)
Search is most appropriate when an acute skill shortage exists. This method is more time and labour intensive and the full service includes:

  • Agreeing a list of possible target companies.
  • Approaching each potential candidate to establish their interest.
  • Conducting extensive pre-screening interviews.
  • Presenting a shortlist of the most appropriate candidates.

Testing
Testing is a highly cost-effective way in which to make an objective assessment of a candidate's skills and abilities. There is a vast array of tests available in the market but we have elected to offer those provided by Saville & Holdsworth. They are well respected within the business community at large and are widely regarded as the pioneers in their field. We have two qualified test administrators and evaluators who test groups or individuals. Tests are normally held at our offices in Knightsbridge at a time to suit the candidate(s).
